Wow, it's almost been a year since I've posted on here.... that's not very bloggy of me.

I did want to write though and say that I'm going to be going through some of my vintage housewares today and posting the ones I'm selling on here and craigslist. Of course, I'll give first dibs to blog followers/friends/twitter followers because I love you all so much.

Earlier closing - Thursday April 22, 2010

Well the closing date has been pushed up once again. Starting tomorrow (Tuesday April 20) everything in store will be 75% off. So with that, I don't think it will take long for the store to be empty. And so with that in mind, we are now officially closing Thursday April 22, 2010. We will be open 10:30 - 5pm

I want to thank all of Gingerly's loyal customers! I'm going to miss seeing you all on a regular basis. You can still shop online for Gingerly Designs jewelry at www.gingerlydesigns.com. Our current collection is up and coming in Fall 2010, we will have new designs up.
Also stay tuned for more details as coming up in the Fall of 2010 we may have an online store similar to our retail store. I'll keep you all posted!

Offically Closing April 24, 2010

Well it's official. Our closing date is a week sooner than we thought, Saturday April 24th. Stock is going fast and I don't think we will have enough in store to stay open an extra week.

So this means, there are only 10 shopping days left at Gingerly. Starting Tuesday April 13th there will even further mark downs in store.

Everything* in store will now be 50% off and all current clearance items are now 80%off. As well we still have some great decor and display items left for sale.

So come quickly to get a great deal on some jewelry and accessories.

*All items are 50% off with the exception of some of our local designers (Brooklyn Designs, Inner Gypsy Designs, Rox Star, June and July, which are still 25% off)

Gingerly Retail Store Closing

I'm are sad to announce that Gingerly will be closing at the end of April. Although I've had a lot of success in the last two years with our retail store, I need to move onto other projects.
I'm still going to making jewelry under the name "Gingerly Designs", creating lines, selling to other stores and doing custom work.

So to kick off our closing sale, everything in the store is 25% off! Including already reduced sale items!
Get here quickly because everything will go fast! I'm also selling most of our display items and store fixtures.

Thank you to all my loyal customers, friends and family who've supported Gingerly over the past 2 years. I've met some amazing people along the way and gained priceless experience.

Christmas Shows coming up!

Wow, it's hard to believe, but Christmas is just around the corner. Though I feel like I've been getting ready for it for a while at the store! I've got new stock arriving daily at Gingerly and new jewelry that I've been creating and displaying from Gingerly Designs as well.

There are a few great shows coming up in November and December that I'm doing with Gingerly Designs, that I wanted to remind everyone about.

The first is Fab Fair. This great local show is featuring over 40 local designers and admission is only $2! You can get more details on the website http://www.fabfair.ca or the Facebook invite

The two other shows are the Portobello West Christmas shows. They are both two day shows and are 2 weeks apart, November 28-29th and December 12 - 13th at the Rocky Mountaineer Station in Vancouver. More details can be found at http://www.portobellowest.com

There are so many new things arriving at the store every day this time of year. I love having a smaller space because that means I get to have a high rotation of stock. Check out the the new Facebook album with some store pictures.

I've also been busy getting some new jewelry made for Portobello West this weekend. Have you ever been before? Its really not to be missed. Over 100 local designers all under one roof. It takes place this Sunday at the Rocky Mountaineer Station on Cotrelle St. in Vancouver from 12 - 6pm. Admission is only $2 but if you want some complimentary door passes just comment on this post and we can hook you up!

What is better than hanging a great framed print or painting on your wall? Why, sticking one to it of course! I have seen quite a few vinyl wall decals in the last little while at home decor stores, but none has tickled my fancy like the ones from artist Jenn Ski. I absolutely love her retro style. She has a great ">etsy page as well as a lovely blog which I follow daily. Once again, sigh...

It's about this time of year when I spend a portion of my day trying to find leaves budding on trees. I guess a part of me feels like I will be relieved of this prolonged winter blues syndrome I and others seem to be suffering from this year, when I see my first leaf.
